MKE Ankaragücü Coach Tolunay Kafkas said that they were happy to beat EMS Yapı Sivasspor 3-1 away in the 5th week of Trendyol Super League.
Speaking at the press conference held after the match, Kafkas stated that they played mediocrely in the first half of the game.
Stating that they lost a lot of balls, Kafkas said, “Sivas away games have always been difficult. The game was very balanced in the second half, especially until N’Jie was kicked out. But we were a little far from our general understanding of the game.” said.
Emphasizing that the important thing is to win the match, Kafkas said:
“We got our first win in the league. I wish success to my brother Servet, who started his career as a coach. Honest and honorable people like him should be in the football market. Sivas is already a place we love very much. I wish success to Sivasspor in their next matches.”
Kafkas explained that he was trying to concentrate on the game on the sidelines and stated that the dismissal of Sivasspor’s N’Jie made their job easier.
Stating that their rival Sivasspor is also a good team, Kafkas said, “We all have shortcomings, but Sivasspor seems to finish this league very easily.” he said.
