Jeff Beck and Johnny Depp will perform at the Tollwood Summer Festival at Olympiapark Süd in Munich on July 13, 2022 at 7 p.m. They have their new album “18” with them, which will be released on July 15, just two days after the performance. The Tollwood Summer Festival will take place this year from June 16 to July 17, 2022 in Munich in the Olympiapark Süd. Also present at Tollwood 2022: Spider Murphy Gang, Cro, Simple Minds, Sido, Mark Forster The BossHoss and Sting. The new album – “18”
On July 15, Johnny Depp and Jeff Beck will release their joint album “18” – on it the exceptional guitarist and the actor cover 13 rock, pop and soul classics. Also included are two new compositions by Depp, the song “This Is A Song For Miss Hedy Lamarr” is available to hear now. In July they will also come to Frankfurt as part of their European tour.
Depp was on trial and in the headlines until the very end of Amber Heard’s trial.
Tollwood
The first Tollwood took place in the summer of 1988 on the grounds of the Olympiapark Süd. In 1992 the Winter Festival was also launched. It started on the so-called Roncalli site, where the Pinakothek der Moderne stands today. More than 70 percent of the events are free. However, this applies to very few concerts.
