Agency for Safety and Chemicals Tukes warn About an Energy + charger sold at Tokmanni that does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Safety Act. According to Tukes, there is a structural fault in the charger.
– During long-term use, the plug of the charger may break so that its parts remain in the socket when it is removed, which makes the live parts of the plug touchable, Tukes reports.
According to Tukes, Tokmanni has suspended deliveries of the charger and removed it from the market. Tokmanni’s communications tell Iltalehti that the defective charger can be returned to the store.
– There is a potential safety deficiency in the Energy + charger (model TOKE-023), which has led Tokmanni to stop delivering and selling the product in question in its stores. If they wish, customers can return the Energy + charger they have purchased (model TOKE-023) to Tokmanni’s store, where the price of the product will be refunded, Tokmann says.
