In January, businessman Toivo Sukari, 68, was faced with some really stopping thoughts when Sukari’s health was shaken in an unprecedented way.
Sukari underwent balloon dilation at the beginning of the month, when he was diagnosed with asymptomatic coronary artery disease. The operation was performed on January 11, after which he was able to go home the same evening to recover.
Two days later he went for a walk because he felt good. However, on the morning following the eight-kilometer run, his health collapsed and Sukari was rushed to the hospital. He soon underwent another balloon dilation because more narrowings were found in the heart.
After two balloon enlargements, Sukari has recovered peacefully and in his own conditions. The businessman told Iltalehti about his health in February.

In an interview with IL, Sukari said that he plans to pursue a stress-free life in the future. The perfect opportunity has now presented itself, because according to social media, Sukari has gone to Marbella, Spain with his wife Nadja.
On Sunday, Nadja Sukari published a mirror selfie taken in the elevator on Instagram, where the couple poses in a happy mood. The photo is reportedly the first public social media photo taken of Toivo Sukar after two ball enlargements. The businessman looks fresh and in good health in the picture.

Toivo Sukari already said in February that his wife has been an important support in the recovery process.
– Nadja is really important to my recovery. I can’t even imagine what it would be like to be alone at home in this situation. That would be an absolutely impossible situation. Nadja has been understanding and we have faced this challenge side by side, Toivo Sukari praises his spouse.
