Prince William and Princess Catherine greet citizens during their visit to Wales.
Prince of Wales William and the princess Catherine visited the South Welsh village of Aberfan on Friday. The royal couple honored the memory of 116 children and 28 adults who died in the 1966 mining accident.
As part of the visit, the couple greeted the crowd gathered on the spot.

When Catherine discussed the local by Lucy Williams with, a 1-year-old did this Daniel– the boy did a surprising trick and caught the princess’s black handbag as a toy.
ITV’s in the published video, it can be seen that Catherine was not upset by the toddler’s seizure, but laughed and watched as the child eagerly explored the bag and rolled it in her hands.

The princess didn’t grab her bag right away either, but started walking forward to talk with other citizens and left the bag in Daniel’s sight.
The video shows that the laughing mother Lucy has a hard time keeping the bag safe, when the 1-year-old repeatedly tried to taste the bag and drop it on the ground.

Williams later stated in an interview with ITV that he was “speechless” about the encounter.
– This is typical for him (Daniel). He’s a little hurricane, I wouldn’t expect anything less, says Williams.
Williams says she’s glad Princess Catherine took the situation with humor.
– I believe that he understood how difficult it is with children. He said “he can play with it, I’ll come back and get it” like any street urchin.
