Todd Snyder is taking part as a “Designer Showcase” at the next edition of the Pitti Immagine Uomo men’s fashion fair in Florence.
The American designer’s eponymous brand will unveil a new collection with a fashion show at the Stazione Leopolda Italian city, Pitti Immagine said on Monday. His fashion show will open the fair on January 9th.
“The Todd Snyder fashion show, scheduled for Tuesday, January 9th, the opening day of the fair, opens the calendar of events of an edition that we have designed to be strong, dynamic and full of inspiration for the entire sector, in the Fortezza and in the city,” says Pitti managing director Raffaello Napoleone.
For Snyder, who has primarily relied on lookbooks to present his collections in recent years, it is a return to the catwalk.
“I’m incredibly excited to be returning to the runway and doing so at Pitti Uomo, one of the world’s most iconic menswear shows, is truly a dream come true,” said Snyder. “While I am proud to be an American designer, I continue to be heavily inspired by Italian style and as a company we continue to work with many iconic Italian manufacturers.”
Snyder is the third designer in the group who will take part in Pitti Uomo next year. In addition to the American designer, British fashion designer Steven Stokey-Daley and Italian Luca Magliano will also present their designs during the men’s fashion fair.
The 105th edition of Pitti Uomo will take place in Florence from January 9th to 12th.
