Today we are in for a big splash of water, but spring will come during the week

This Monday will be gray and rainy and Tuesday won’t be great either. But it will get better during the week, Floris Lafeber from Weerplaza said on Monday morning in the radio program ‘WAKKER!’ on Omroep Brabant. It will be sunny on Thursday and the temperature will climb towards 18 degrees.

This Monday we are dealing with a heavy rain area. “Regionally, twenty to even thirty millimeters of rain can fall,” Floris said on the radio. “That is equal to half the monthly amount of precipitation. It is quite a splash of water that we get over us.”

The temperature does not exceed 8 to 10 degrees. “That is a lot cooler than the previous days. There is generally little wind, but we have lost spring for a while.”

Tuesday will also be gray, at around 11 degrees. “Then some light rain will fall occasionally.”

The temperature will rise considerably on Wednesday. “Then it will be about 15 degrees, but we won’t see the sun very often.”

There will be regular sunshine on Thursday. That, in combination with the 18 degrees that Floris sees on the temperature chart for then, makes it pleasant. “Then spring will return for a while.”

These high temperatures appear to continue next weekend. “It will be 15 degrees on Friday, although the chance of showers will increase. There is therefore a chance of a thunderstorm. We will also maintain this mild weather on Saturday and Sunday. “Normal for this time of year is a temperature of 10 or 11 degrees.”
