Today, on September 17, the fifth edition of World Cleanup Day will take place. In 2021, more than 8.5 million people from 191 countries took part in that global cleanup. This year, too, millions of people in all corners of the world are committed to cleaning up waste, according to the citizens’ movement. Since 2019, the campaign has already collected more than 46,495 kilograms of waste.
