A man was arrested on Saturday morning in his house on Koningin Julianastraat in Bergeijk. The man is said to have kicked in the neighbors’ gate in the morning and pushed a tod with flammable liquid into the mailbox.
Police negotiators spent more than an hour trying to get him out of his home, to no avail.
Longer inconvenience
In the meantime, the fire brigade drilled several holes in the house to detect any flammable substances. There was a smell of flammable substances near the house. No increased dosage was discovered in the house.
Finally, the police entered the house through the window. The man was found there and arrested. The area has been experiencing nuisance from the resident for some time. The man was arrested and taken away.
