Last weekend, he was the only one who walked around continuously with a security guard behind the scenes of the Holland Zingt Hazes concerts, says Telegraaf reporter Jordi Versteegden, who was also allowed to be backstage.

Jordi states that the Hazesjes were acting really strange in the corridors. “So I also walked around a lot behind the scenes for those interviews and what I find remarkable: everyone behind the scenes is super hospitable, but the only ones who did not speak to us as press were the Hazesjes themselves,” he explains. in the podcast Strictly Private.
Did Rachel not want to say anything at all? Not even if she could promote a pair of Hazes bath slippers or bathrobes? “Rachel kept walking past us stoically, I think she must have something against the media now because of everything going on around her.”
On the toilet
And André? “Yes, I also find that remarkable… At one point he had to go to the toilet and we as the press were standing nearby. We saw him take his cousin Djarno with him. That’s his tour manager and I think he had to pee too. But there was always a security guard with André.”
So André’s security guard also went into that toilet cubicle. “That’s strange, isn’t it? Behind the scenes! I thought: well, maybe he’s afraid of Rachel or something, because of course they don’t speak to each other anymore. I thought it was all a bit remarkable.”
