The black and yellow prevail in harmless Heidenheimers. There are two moments of fright in the initial phase.
Serhou Guirassy (33rd) and Maximilian Beier (45.+6) met for the safe victory of the guests with harmless Heidenheimers, who had to outnumber from the 22nd minute. Budu ZivziVadze had fouled Dortmund’s Felix Nmecha. To do this, the Heidenheimers had to replace Leart Pamada from the 6th minute, who had to be replaced injured.
The team of coach Niko Kovač started offensive. Karim Adeyemi failed in the first minute from a short distance and an acute angle on BVB loan Diant Ramaj. A little later, the Heidenheimers had to cope with an early shock. Newcomer Learst Pacarada injured himself in his FCH debut without external influence and had to be injured (7th).
The BVB then determined the game, but many freedom did not know to use Adeyemi and Co. The black and yellow offensive often acted too complicated, followed by the next setback for Heidenheim: Zivzivadze met Nmecha with an open sole on the left shin and was put from the square. During the resulting free kick, Dortmund’s goalkeeper Guirassy really appeared for the first time, his dangerous header defused Ramaj Artistic (24th).
Almost ten minutes later, the Guineer hit the head after a cross from Julian Ryerson. Nevertheless, Dortmund continued to torture himself against Heidenheimer, which was shortly before the break. After a steep pass from Ryseron, Adeyemi only had to cross it, but brought about relief.
After the break, Dortmund wanted more, but the ideas were missing. Heidenheim did not give up in front of the 15,000 spectators. A long-range shot from Bayern loan Arijon Ibrahimović almost brought the FCH again. However, Gregor Kobel stretched and was on the spot (52nd). Despite a lot of possession of the ball, the BVB knew little about it, the Swabian defense chain was deep and compact.
