TMZ: Pitt sues Jolie over winery sold to Russian businessman
The actor claims that his ex-wife secretly sold her stake in a winery in France. It was acquired by Tenute del Mondo, part of the Stoli Group of Russian businessman Yuri Shefler, writes TMZ.

American actor Brad Pitt sued ex-wife Angelina Jolie writes TMZ portal with link to court documents. Pitt claims his ex-wife secretly sold her stake in the winery they owned together to a company linked to a Russian businessman, the publication said. According to TMZ, we are talking about the structure of Yuri Shefler.
The former couple purchased Chateau Miraval in France in 2008. According to the actor, over the years he has invested a lot of money and time in the winery and made it successful. Under the terms of ownership, artists cannot sell their shares without each other’s consent.
Jolie revealed last summer that she had agreed to sell her stake to an unnamed person. Pitt agreed on the condition that he personally approve the buyer. However, in the fall, the actor learned that the winery was sold to Tenute del Mondo, part of the Stoli Group of Russian businessman Yuri Shefler, writes TMZ. The actor will seek termination of the deal through the courts. Shefler, worth $2.6 billion took 58th place in the latest Forbes ranking of Russian businessmen. His SPI Group owns the trademarks Stolichnaya, Moskovskaya, Rīgas Melnais Balzams (Riga balsam), in 2016 the group bought the Argentine wine producer Achaval Ferrer.
In 2016, the star couple filed for divorce. They divorced in April 2019. Now Pitt and Jolie share property. They have six children, three of whom they adopted. Actress sought sole custody of the children, while her husband insisted on joint custody.
