Tiziana D’Angelo studied at Oxford and Harvard
In his curriculum there are some of the most prestigious universities in the world. He worked on the Harvard Art Museumsto the Getty Research Institute of Los Angeles, al Deutsches Archäologisches Institut of Berlin and al Metropolitan Museum from New York. And that’s not all: he also taught a Cambridge it’s at Nottingham. Currently she returned to Italy. And it’s one of the youngest managers of museums and archaeological parks in Italy.
In an interview with The Guardianthe new director – specialized in Magna Graecia archeology in pre-Roman Italy – confessed which his reaction when he found out he would fill this important role. “One would expect a very serious and composed reaction, but the truth is, the first thing I did was scream“.

He then said that one of the objectives is the creation of new poles and exhibition spaces in the archaeological sites of Paestum and Velia. But also strengthening the link between the two sites.
