– In the last few years, things went a little rough, and I had to take out one loan just to live. And the surprising roof renovation really strained the economy. Everything was due to buying an apartment, says the entrepreneur.

– However, I aim to always have a buffer of one month (around 2,500 euros) in the background to provide security for financial expenses. Especially important in a detached house, he adds.

Karelian tells Instagram– in his stories that he has received negative messages about his post. For example, one communicator was upset that Karjalainen was taking care money from Kela, even though he had just revealed that he earned more than 6,000 euros in January.

Karjalainen shared his answers on his Instagram stories, which can be viewed 24 hours after their publication.

– First of all, I wouldn’t have any financial difficulties if my income was 6,000 euros per month. I have now raised my salary a little more in January, because I didn’t raise it at all in the autumn, for example, explains the entrepreneur.

– I estimate my annual income to be around 45,000 euros this year. I am entitled to it because I do not work a full-time work week. Kela was advised to apply for this care allowance when the home maintenance allowance ran out. Besides, next month my income may be only 2000 euros. They vary as an entrepreneur, he emphasizes.

In the following parts of his story, Karjalainen states that he no longer plans to talk about money because of the feedback he has received.

– I decided to run these because money talk is needed, but because of my own mental health, no more. It’s really hard when people make assumptions, he concludes.
