What started as a hobby for José Sancha, founder and director of Tipsanalistas, has become a profession with thousands of followers on social media
After seven years of experience, this platform is consolidated as the largest community of Spanish-speaking betting tipsters
With 270,000 followers on Instagram and 225,000 on Telegram, Tipsanalistas has become a great sports betting information network. The people who bet are not alone, they are accompanied by the ‘tipsters’ or sports forecasters, the workers of Tipsanalistas, with Jose Sanchafounder and director of the initiative, as captain.
-How did you start in the betting forecast?
-I studied Pharmacy, but I realized that I was quite good at betting and had good contacts, especially in the third and second divisions, so I decided to dedicate myself to betting forecasting. We take advantage of the information that these contacts provide us about the day-to-day of the teams and, together with the statistical analysis of the league, the matches and the teams, we make a betting forecast.
With this information and doing a statistical analysis of the matches and the teams, we get a forecast with a high probability of success, although nothing is certain in sports betting. And we share the forecast with all our followers, either through Instagram or Telegram. With this work, Tipsanalistas is already 7 years old and every day we are more people on social networks (@Tipsanalistas).
-What motivated you to start sharing your predictions?
-At first, I showed it as a part of my daily life on social networks. But it began to grow, people began to follow my bets and messages of thanks began to arrive. Every day I was able to help more people and demonstrate that by doing things well you can obtain benefits. Now I share almost all my tips on social networks. What started as a hobby has finally become a profession.
-What does the work that you carry out at Tipsanalistas consist of?
-Currently, we are a team of eleven people and we have our headquarters in the center of Alicante. Our day to day is based on watching a lot of sports, reading a lot of press and talking to our contacts to see how the teams or certain players are doing. Six of us are tipsters and we are specialized in football, basketball and tennis. The rest of the team helps us in the rest of the procedures. Over time we have become the largest and most active community of Spanish-speaking tipsters.
-What kind of relationship do you promote with betting?
No one is going to get rich betting. We recommend our followers to take it as an extra, without the need to recover the money or live only from sports betting. You should never risk money that you need to live. And as for the budget to bet, you have to dose it, since in sport anything can happen. For example, we recommend spending up to €10 per bet to take the risk of losing any bets. The benefits will not be to make us rich, but they will be a bonus. We want to help people to bet, but to do it in a healthy way.
To do this, we give some basic notions on how to enter the world of betting. It is important that the people who do it have a basic understanding of how this world works from the beginning, to avoid problems such as problem gambling. The only way to make a profit is to play in a healthy way.
-How do you prevent problems such as gambling?
-We have support videos on YouTube and in our daily content we appeal to responsibility and we are recurrent in this type of messages. At the end of the day, we want to promote another point of view of sports betting: we want it to be seen not as a game, but as an investment.
