Tino Martin refuses an interview with Shownieuws: ‘No makeup on’

Tino Martin refuses to give an interview to Shownieuws if he is not yet wearing make-up. Not even to honor his good friend Robert Leroy. Is he trying to hide his red nose?

Singer Robert Leroy, not exactly one household name, has been in the business for x number of years and that includes a nice party. Many stars gathered in Noordwijk last night to celebrate his anniversary. Shownieuws was also there and everyone wanted to speak to them: from Billy Dans to Lee Towers and from Bas Smit to Yves Berendse.

Where is Tino?

Tino Martin was also there, but he absolutely did not want to appear in front of the Shownieuws camera. The reason? He didn’t have any makeup on yet. Ah, of course: it’s quite a layer foundation necessary to mask the fact that he has once again looked too deeply into the glass. One time with a drunk on TV and the juice channels are working overtime again…

Presenter Dyantha Brooks thinks it’s a bit crazy and brings it up in the show section on SBS 6. “Lots of famous friends. Tino Martin was nowhere to be seen?”

No interviews

Bart Ettekoven then explains why we don’t see Tino in front of the camera. “He was there, but he just didn’t want to do an interview, because he wasn’t in the make-up yet, so he didn’t do any interviews.”

Colleague Iris van Lunenburg can’t believe it: “Hahaha. Did he say that?”

Dyantha thinks it’s vanity: “Was it true that everyone who came in front of the camera today was wearing a lot of make-up?”

Just put on some make-up

Bart does acknowledge that make-up is the most normal thing in the world for artists. “I don’t know, but most people usually put on make-up before they go on television or on stage.”

Colleague William Rutten: “You too?”

Bart jokes: “No, I don’t, with exceptions.”

Dyantha laughing: “One natural beauty. You also just ask the person who doesn’t need anything.”
