Tina Nijkamp refuses invitation Today Inside: ‘No, I’m not coming’

A stroke of luck for Angela de Jong: her brand new rival Tina Nijkamp is not aiming for her spot at Today Inside. In fact, she ignored that invitation. “I’m not coming.”

There is no newspaper that dominates reporting on media matters as much as the AD. The major competitor, De Telegraaf, has hardly participated for years. But they now seem to want to change that with the new columnists Mark Koster and Tina Nijkamp. With ratings hooligan Tina, they simply have their own Angela de Jong in house.

“You don’t dare, do you?”

Should Angela fear for her TV appearances? Will they halve now that Tina is also on the market? Johan Derksen has given her a big compliment by saying that she is more expert than Angela, but that call from the Today Inside star is not answered.

Tina does not plan to join VI, she confirms to Wilfred Genee in his radio program The Friday Move. At the end of their conversation he says: “Nice to have you here, Tina. Until next time. Hold that, that outspoken thing. That is a lot of fun. You don’t dare at Today Inside, I heard, right? That’s too bad.”

Not a good score

It’s true, Tina answers. “No, I don’t think I will get very good viewing figures either, so I would think that would be a shame for you. Hahahaha.”

Wilfred: “That’s very strange that you already say that you have…”

Tina: “Well, men generally score better.”

Opposite football

As a ratings expert, Tina keeps a close eye on VI’s scores. Merel Ek: “You noticed something about Albert Verlinde.”

Tina: “Yes, I noticed that Albert Verlinde, who I think is very smart, always attends the football evenings at VI. He has never attended a non-football night. You had 695 thousand viewers.”

Wilfred: “Against football. That was really good.”

‘Very good’

Tina: “Yes, that was very good, very good. You were one of the most watched programs.”

Wilfred: “And I thought he did a really great job. Yes. Was really good.”

Finally: does Tina see herself as the Angela de Jong of De Telegraaf? “Of course I’m not, because I’m not going to review like Angela. I’m not going to watch TV all night.”
