Nick & Simon have a new TV show that didn’t really get off to a good start: Strandgasten. The most important viewing figure analyst in our country, Tina Nijkamp, has looked at it and thinks that the low score has to do with the non-verbal attitude of the musical duo. “They don’t even look at each other!”
Tired of Tina
AD media journalist Marcus den Blanken argues that Tina is just making this up. “Yeah, I’m getting a little tired of that. Especially Tina Nijkamp does it. He then says: ‘They don’t look at each other!’. And then I’m watching that broadcast, after she said that, and then I see them looking at each other all the time,” he says in the AD Media podcast.
Marcus thinks that Tina is completely wrong in this regard. “Then I think, how did you get here? I am very disturbed by that and I see nothing in it at all.”
Jokes
The Nick & Simon show has been criticized for its high level of underpants fun. What does Marcus’ fellow journalist Dennis Jansen think of that? “That Nick does wear that program, I think. At least I’ve seen one episode.”
Podcast host Manuel Venderbos: “Kees does a few more jokes and Simon does nothing.”
Dennis: “They are just laughing. Well, not just, I’m charging, but they’re laughing a lot. There is sports, everything is done. There is flying. All stuffing, I think.”

Actually, Nick should just start making TV solo, according to Dennis. “I think Nick carries that program. I actually think that Nick should just continue on his own.”
Angela de Jong, the star of the podcast, breaks in: “It may well be that there was an interview that is worth it. But in general, of course, we have already seen this eighty times. And of course there is also some Nick and Simon fatigue and Kees Tol fatigue.”
Dennis: “I say: Nick go on alone. He can do that alone. He really doesn’t need those other two.”
