Vanjanaja meat pie

2.5 dl of milk

25 g of yeast

1 teaspoon of salt

1 tablespoon brown sugar

3.5 dl yeast bread wheat flour

3.5 dl wheat flour

100 g of margarine

Filling:

400 g minced meat

2 chopped onions

5 dl of boiled rice

1 dl sour cream

2 tablespoons chopped parsley

1/2 tsp allspice

1 teaspoon of salt

1. Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm milk. Add salt and brown sugar. Add the flour to the dough. Add margarine at the end. Let the dough rise.

2. Brown the minced meat and onion slices in a drop of oil. Add cooked rice, sour cream, parsley and spices. Mix until the filling is slightly firm.

3. Roll out a good half of the dough into a plate almost the size of a baking sheet. Place the plate on a tray lined with baking paper. Spread the filling on the plate. Leave a couple of centimeters free from the edges. Roll out the final dough for the cover. Put the filling on top. Fold the edges of the base plate over the cover plate. Pinch with a fork. Brush the surface with egg and prick with a fork.

4. Bake at 200 degrees on the lowest rack level for half an hour.
