Timo Rautiainen & Trio Neskalaukaus drummer kicked out: “A blow to the face”

The drummer of the award-winning band says he is embarrassed by the situation.

The recent twists and turns of the Emma award winner Timo Rautiainen & Trio Niskalaukaus band have caused confusion on social media.

The band announced on Thursday on their Facebook account that the band has stopped working with its long-term drummer Seppo Pohjolainen with. Pohjolainen has played in the band between 1995–2004 and 2017–2023.

The band members are the signatories of the update Timo Rautiainen, Jarkko PetosalmiJari Huttunen and Nils Ursin.

The update did not give any more details about how the cooperation ended.

After the update, Pohjolainen shared his views on the matter on his own Facebook account.

– Many thanks to all friends, fans and supporters for the hugs and hugs. I am as shocked as you are by the events of this evening, writes Pohjolainen.

– Excited, I went to ABC for the band meeting that had been called. I thought that if we finally start a new album with Timo Rautiainen & Trio Niskalaukaus. But then there was a blow in the face and I was fired from the band. Yes, we will recover from this, but it will take time. You are dear, thank you!

Pohjolainen’s update received many confused comments from the band’s fans about what has happened behind the scenes.

The band’s most famous songs include, among others Now there’s a man!, Mourning suit, Waders in the snow, Boundless love, Cold mode and Good person.
