The former captain of the Lions Timo Jutilan the company Jetsetclub Oy made a huge profit in the fiscal year ending in June 2022.
According to the most recent financial statements submitted to the Trade Register, Jutila’s company had a turnover of just under two million euros, of which the profit was just under 714,000 euros.
The company’s accounting period was exceptionally 18 months long, so it is not one to one with the previous ones, but the company’s turnover increased tenfold during the accounting period.
In the previous fiscal year, the company made a loss of 37,178 euros.
Cooperation with students
The background of the result is the World Ice Hockey Championships played at Nokia Arena in Tampere in May, where Jutila ran the business.
Jetsetclub was the official hospitality partner of the WC home games, whose task was to entertain the guests who came to the games in the Tampere adult education center next to the Nokia arena (Captain VIP Lounge).
– The space exceptionally opens already four hours before the start of the games. I receive all the guests myself. People have a lot of time to enjoy the food prepared by the three chefs, the program and the puck atmosphere, Jutila told Iltalehte a couple of weeks before the opening of the World Championships.
The one-day hospitality package initially cost 550 euros, but as the World Cup hype grew, the price rose to around 900 euros.
Jutila’s company cooperated with the Finnish Ice Hockey Federation and Tampere Adult Education Center in the games.
– Students from different fields are building the space to perfection. The cooperation with the educational institution will be taken so far that a couple of students will be employed at the Elonen bakery after the games, if they otherwise meet the criteria. This is a great joint project, Jutila beamed to IL.
Two sheds at the Nokia Arena
In addition, Jutila’s company had two sheds at the World Championships, its own Jetsetclub and a shed rented for the duration of the Games, Ylämummo.
– All the places for the World Cup at our club were sold out in three days already in January 2021, Jutila told Iltalehte in May 2022.
Jutila’s company had distributable equity of 6,363 euros before the World Cup home games.
There is enough to share now for years to come.
With the result brought by the World Cup home games, the company distributes 57,800 euros in dividends, which is exactly 8 percent of the mathematical value of the company’s shares. This common practice means lower taxation.

According to the appendices to the financial statements, the company has lent 40,000 euros to its CEO and 32,000 euros to the board members.
No interest is charged on unsecured loans and there is no defined loan period for them.

641,000 euros for the lease
Jutila told Iltalehte about her new business in December 2021.
Jutila’s company had rented its own space on the fourth floor of the new arena in Tampere for year-round use.
– We probably organize 200 events a year, Satu Jutila told Iltalehte.
The lease is for five years, but there is a 3+3 year option.
The financial statement reveals that the value of the lease that started on December 1, 2021 is 641,000 euros, which means that Jutilat pays 128,200 euros per year for the building. A deposit of 45,000 euros serves as a rental guarantee.
A six-figure amount of money has been spent on renovating and decorating the hall.
