Time for better weather: more sun and less rain this week

It was raining heavily again in the province this weekend, but this week it will improve, according to NH weatherman Jan Visser. The sun shows up more often, and there are fewer rain showers that also last shorter. In other words: the umbrella can be left at home more often.

The day starts with drizzle, but during the morning the sun also makes an appearance. However, the changeable weather of recent times has not yet been completely resolved. “There may be some local showers this morning and this afternoon,” says NH weatherman Jan Visser.

Showers will move across the north and south of the country this afternoon. “We fall a bit in between,” says Visser. “So it seems like it will remain reasonable.” The sun shows itself every now and then, but it is more cloudy than this morning. It is 11 to 12 degrees today.

Sun

Tomorrow morning there will be a lot of clouds at first, but later there will be a chance of sunshine here and there. “Tomorrow afternoon there may be an occasional shower at the sea,” says Visser. “But otherwise the weather is dry and there will be periods of sunshine tomorrow afternoon.” It will be about 10 degrees tomorrow and on the coast there can be strong winds from the north to northeast.

It will remain dry on Wednesday and it will be around 8 degrees. At night it can cool down considerably to around freezing point. Light frost is already expected in the east of the country, but it has not reached that point here yet.

It will be a little warmer again on Thursday. “Then it will be more than 10 degrees again, with even 12 or 13 degrees in some places,” Visser predicts. On Friday it will cool down again to 8 degrees.

Colder

According to the weatherman, there is a chance of showers from the end of the week. The weatherman reassures us. “It looks like the quantities will not be too bad.” In the longer term, after November 28, it will cool down further, according to Visser. “Then it may freeze a bit at night.”
