BZ reporter Sara Orlos Fernandes is training for a 10-kilometer run from Mariendorf to the Victory Column. Instead of the next jogging tour, this time there is a breather.

I managed 8.7 kilometers in the last run – and it won’t be more for the time being. Because after the giga run, my legs need a break.

The sore muscles after the last run was hard to bear. Amazingly, it was the first since the jogging experiment. Despite warming up and stretching, my thighs burned for days.

The motivation for the next run is therefore limited. But there is not much time left for the goal. I want to make it from home to the Victory Column by May 31 at the latest. With or without sore muscles!
