Cormac Roth, son of actor Tim Roth, has died at the age of 25 from complications from cancer, his family said. “He was a wild and electric ball of energy, and his spirit was filled with light and goodness,” the statement said. “An irrepressible and happy and wild and wonderful child. Just become a man. We love him. We will carry it with us wherever we go.”
Cormac made his diagnosis public in July. In November 2021, he was diagnosed with a third-stage germ cell tumor. Since then he has fought it with chemotherapy and other methods. “But he didn’t take away my will to survive or my love of making music,” he wrote on Instagram at the time. “Please make sure you’re doing the things you love. Life is short. It’s mayhem. And you never know what’s going to get you.”
Tim Roth is best known for his roles in Quentin Tarantino films such as Reservoir Dogs (1992), Pulp Fiction (1994) and The Hateful Eight (2015). He was nominated for an Oscar for his supporting role in Rob Roy (1995). With his wife Nikki Butler, a fashion designer, he has two years older than Cormac son Hunter. He also has a son, Jack, from a previous marriage.
