Tim den Besten thinks the love affairs of André Hazes Jr. and Monique Westenberg have become very uninteresting, sneered. “Their story is really so chewed up!”
It’s all so 2022: the vicissitudes surrounding André Hazes Jr. and his part-time fiancée Monique Westenberg. We all know it now; it really has become an incredibly gray turned record. Junior was still in a talk show last Sunday and that was another huge repetition of moves. New music, addictions, new beginnings, etc. etc.
Long epistle
Monique in turn put a whole epistle on her Instagram yesterday. An incredibly long story about the fact that it has been nine years since she met André. “Nine years later, with many peaks and valleys, many beautiful lessons and challenges, a beautiful son and three dog children later, I still feel them, those butterflies,” it sounds.
André then placed a whole spell under it. Can’t those two just say that to each other on the couch? Do we have to read all of this by ourselves? Incredible…
Tim is getting tired
Tim den Besten really can’t take it anymore. “Can someone give her Dré’s phone number? Then she doesn’t have to keep putting her columns on Insta xxx”, the VPRO star snaps Insta stories.
It really can’t be done anymore, he thinks. “Dré and Monique are a bit like Soldaat van Oranje, the musical: they hang in every bus shelter and it never ends. We just need to build a theater hangar around them.”
Chewed out story
To warm people up, Tim probably made a poster of it. ‘Soldier van Hazes: the musical’, it says. And: “The chewed-up story now as a chewed-out performance! (…) If you don’t come, we’ll post even more on Insta!”
The ‘reviews’ are already in. “You already know how it ends, but that didn’t matter with Titanic either,” according to the ‘Volkskrant’. And ‘De Groene Amsterdammer’: “One break is not enough for a seven-hour musical.”
