Till Lindemann: Solo concert at the Munich Zenith

Till Lindemann will perform in Munich in December. As part of his upcoming solo tour, the Rammstein frontman will be on the stage at Munich’s Zenith on December 18th. In view of the current investigations against Till Lindemann regarding the suspicion of sexual abuse, this is not a self-evident undertaking for the organizer.

“Lindemann” is the side project of the Rammstein frontman. The solo tour will take place in various cities in Germany in November and December. The concert in Munich will be the final concert of the Lindemann tour. It is to be expected that this, like the Rammstein concerts in Berlin, will be accompanied by massive protests.

The organizer is relaxed about the upcoming Lindemann concert: “The concert by Till Lindemann will take place. In Germany, the presumption of innocence applies,” explained Margot Schwindenhammer, the press officer responsible for tour organizer Handwerker Promotion. The local concert organizer Global Concerts is also keeping a low profile regarding a possible cancellation of the performance: “At the moment, we don’t know anything from the tour organizer that there will be a cancellation.” The company also emphasizes that the allegations against Till Lindemann are finally being examined must be, which the public prosecutor’s office has also taken over, and said: “As organizers, we adhere to all the requirements for the implementation of a concert and also implement it consistently.”

Rammstein are currently on a big stadium tour in Germany and Europe. Due to the allegations against their singer Till Lindemann, the concerts are accompanied by strong protests. They demand a ban on the band’s concerts and after-show parties. Many citizens want Rammstein performances to be canceled. They don’t want Till Lindemann in their city.

Despite numerous petitions and protest actions, all concerts have taken place so far. Tickets for the Rammstein shows are still sold out and the stadiums are packed. Most fans seem to be loyal to Rammstein. Only the “Row Zero”, i.e. the guest area at Rammstein concerts, through which women were allegedly recruited in a targeted manner, was abolished at some concerts.

Till Lindemann is not deterred by all the protests. He has said through his lawyers that the allegations of sexual abuse are “everything untrue” and denies all allegations against him. The media lawyers announced legal consequences and threatened injunctive relief. His solo tour begins on November 8th in Leipzig and ends on December 18th in Munich.
