Till Lindemann releases new solo single “Sport Frei”

After “Zunge”, “Nass”, “Schweiss” and “Lecker”, Till Lindemann delivers “Sport Frei”, the fifth single from his new solo album “Zunge”, which will be released on November 3rd.

The song, which is primarily about sport – as the name suggests – is accompanied by a black and white music video. Not only are various competitive sports compared (such as ballet and boxing), but Lindemann is also shown carrying massive chains and a weight bar on his shoulder. In one excerpt, the singer also presents himself on a winner’s podium with a gold medal around his neck. Towards the end of the video, the musician is – as so often – on fire.

Lindemann’s new record will not be released on his main music label Universal, which usually releases his works – both his solo and Rammstein albums – but will be self-distributed. The Universal collaboration was ended after allegations of sexual violence against the 60-year-old became public. The investigation has now been discontinued by the public prosecutor.

Rammstein will go on a European tour in 2024. Since the tickets for some dates were sold out within a very short time, the band has already announced additional shows – including two dates in Frankfurt am Main and Gelsenkirchen.
