The Rammstein singer, the “industrial metal genius”, is coming on a US tour with “Songs in his luggage”.
Till Lindemann has announced two new American tour dates. The Rammstein singer will perform at the Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville (Kentucky, USA) on September 27, 2024 and at the Aftershock Festival in Sacramento (California) on October 10, 2024.
Lindemann praises himself in English on his homepage:
“TILL LINDEMANN – industrial metal genius, frontman and voice of Rammstein, is going on tour again this autumn. In his luggage: new songs by the German artist, who is known worldwide for his imagery-rich and powerful lyrics. Live, he stages his tracks artfully and dramatically. For his 2023 European tour, 27 shows in 14 countries are scheduled.
TILL LINDEMANN is not only a talented musician, he is a phenomenon. His concerts are as impressive as a volcanic eruption, when you stand in the epicentre while singing “Steh auf!” with maximum power. Millions of fans all over the world are thrilled by his charisma, artistry and brutal energy.
“TILL LINDEMANN with more metal, old and new songs, more videos, special effects and the incredible presence of one of the best frontmen in rock.”
In German:
“TILL LINDEMANN – industrial metal genius, frontman and voice of Rammstein, is going on tour again this fall. Live, he stages his pieces artfully and dramatically. 27 shows in 14 countries are planned for his 2023 European tour.
TILL LINDEMANN is not just a talented musician, he is a phenomenon. His concerts are as impressive as a volcanic eruption when you stand at the epicenter and say ‘Get up!’ with all your might. sings. Millions of fans around the world are amazed by his charisma, artistry and brutal energy.
TILL LINDEMANN with more metal, old and new songs, more videos, special effects and the incredible presence of one of rock’s best frontmen.”
According to his own advertising, he is an “industrial metal genius” whose concerts are as “impressive as a volcanic eruption”. Lindemann’s promotional text geniuses once again proved that not every German phrase should be translated into English with the phrase “in his luggage: new songs”.
A look at the billing at both festivals shows how popular the 61-year-old is in the USA. Over four days there will be four headliners on the main stage: Slipknot, Mötley Crüe, Korn – and the reunited Slayer. And Till Lindemann appears with his “Lindemann” band in front of Slayer, so he takes on the job of the warm-up, but is at least the penultimate act of five bands.
Lindemann recently had to cancel a US appearance. He had to sell his solo album “Zunge” himself – at concerts and through distribution on his own site – after his record company Universal stopped the cooperation.
