Till Lindemann has “incredibly influenced me”

In the course of the media hype surrounding the release of the new album “Zeit”, a love affair of Till Lindemann, which has long been shelved, comes back into focus.

From 2011 to 2015, the Rammstein singer was in a sparkling on/off relationship with It-Girl Sophia Thomalla, who was 27 years his junior. A kind of Prenzlauer Berg version of the riot couple Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox.

Now, in an interview with the RTL television station, Sophia Thomalla dictated that the wild rocker would still influence her life. At least spiritually. “Till has shaped me incredibly and still shapes me and that’s why I have such a special taste, I would say,” she announced.

During their time together – and certainly not always easy – the singer would have kissed awake a rebellious side in her that she no longer wants to do without. “It’s also a little bit of my arrogance, which speaks out of me, that I always have the feeling that I don’t want to belong to the rest,” says Thomalla.

After Union keeper Loris Karius, Thomalla (32) is now in a relationship with tennis champ Alexander Zverev. However, she still proudly wears the tattoo with the likeness of the Rammsteiner on her left forearm. Shortly after separating from Lindemann, she said in the tabloid TV magazine “Taff” that she would not regret the decoration at all. Lasering away or covering would be out of the question for them. To this day, the memories act like a rock ‘n’ roll engine for her.
