In a new commercial for online poker site GGPoker, Rammstein singer Till Lindemann can be seen showing off his acting skills and impersonating various poker game characters. He also accompanies the action of the video with his typical Lindemann voice. R-rolling, he recites verses that are intended to describe the game of poker and the madness that prevails in it.

Lindemann goes crazy

Within the four-minute clip, Lindemann simultaneously plays several, characteristically very different roles: a slightly megalomaniac cowboy who can hardly wait to play poker. An arrogant and money-hungry punk. In addition, an unpredictable, outwardly cool poker pro with bleached hair in an HP Baxxter look and a beautiful woman in a red dress at her side who smiles smugly when her partner makes a successful move. And he embodies a nerdy, crazy nerd as well as a manic calculating professor who is under the wing of a nun. In between there is also professional fencing.

In the end, strategy wins, not mania

The conclusion of the clip in Lindemann’s words: “Control my anger – I’m fine again”. The outwardly cool-looking poker pro who, in contrast to the cowboy, the nerd or the punk, has remained calm wins the game. “GGPoker” writes on YouTube about the video: “Good players gain experience and develop their skills instead of being guided by emotions.”

The strip was implemented by Specter Berlin. The graphic artist, art director and director, whose real name is Eric Remberg, is one of the founders of the label “Aggro Berlin” and has already shot the “Germany” video by Rammstein.

Rammstein on tour

Rammstein start the third round of their stadium tour in Lithuania on May 22nd. In June and July, Till Lindemann’s group will also be making seven guest appearances in Munich and Berlin.
