A Tilburg rapper was shot dead on Curaçao on Thursday night. Sources on the island report this to De Telegraaf. It concerns Ruchendell Windster, who raps under the name Boechi.

According to the newspaper, images show that Boechi was lying on the street, behind a car at a food truck. Someone also shouts the rapper’s name crying. It is not clear if several people were involved. The rapper was shot in the chest, according to the sources.
Condolences poured in on social media. “We had great memories. I enjoyed you as an artist,” someone writes. “The only anti-artist I listened to every day. You were ridiculously good,” someone else writes under a post from the rapper on Instagram.
