Til Schweiger and Henry Cavill star in Guy Ritchie’s new film

Guy Ritchie’s new film The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is scheduled to begin filming in February 2023. Ex-Superman actor Henry Cavill and Til Schweiger have been signed for the new action film.

The German actor is no stranger to Hollywood. He starred as Hugo Stiglitz in Quentin Tarantino’s Inglorious Basterds. Also this time the film will play during the Second World War. The screenplay was based on Damien Lewis’ book of the same name. In terms of content, it revolves around a top-secret unit that was actually created by Winston Churchill in 1939 and also served as a template for James Bond.

Til Schweiger celebrated success in Germany as an actor, director, screenwriter and producer, especially for his films like “Keinohrhasen” from 2007. In recent years, however, he has also been repeatedly criticized, among other things in connection with the COVID 19 pandemic for the channel of the conspiracy theorist Ken Jebsen. It is his first collaboration with British Guy Ritchie. He worked with Henry Cavill on Codename UNCLE in 2015. Ritchie’s “Operation Fortune” only appeared in German cinemas on January 5th. “The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare” is planned for 2024.
