Legendary Tiku and Taku rescue patrol will make a comeback when Disney + Streaming Service releases a new movie version of it in March 2022.

The film is based on the 1990 release Tiku and Taku rescue patrol series and will continue to do so. It combines animation and live action, the end result played by real actors.

In the new film, the iconic ground squirrel duo lives in Los Angeles today. Tiku works as an insurance salesman and Taku desperately wants to get back to the golden age of fame. The big theme is seeing how the duo want to repair their dilapidated friendship after the failure of their popular television show.

An avalanche of criticism of the summer 2021 series

Previously Chip ‘n Dale made a comeback in the summer of 2021 when the rodent duo got their own series on Disney +. The novelty series faced an avalanche of criticism at the time of its release, when the style of the animation and the appearance of the cartoon characters had been drastically changed.

Viewers found the incident a disgrace to the classic animation.

Tiku and Taku were first seen at Disney Pluto on guard in a cartoon in 1943.

Stick and Taku Rescue Rangers (Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers) in March on Disney +. See Telku for program information on streaming services.
