Tijl Beckand has recently been arousing quite a bit of annoyance among TV-watchers in the Netherlands, but Rob Goossens doesn’t understand that. “Better him than that shitty Jeroen van Koningsbrugge!”
Lately there has been a lot of talk about the presentation skills of Tijl Beckand. Both his appearances in The Perfect Picture and in De Worth?! cause annoyance to the people. Angela de Jong even wrote an entire column about it recently, to which the presenter then responded quite laconically.
Largest jellyfish
The massive criticism of Tijl was also discussed in last night RTL Boulevard. Presenter Eddy Zoëy: “There is a lot of commentary on Tijl Beckand now, right, all at once? Of course, that also has to do with the other program, De Moeite Waard, in which he does not click so well with Bob Sikkes. And now all of a sudden it seems like people are falling for it.”
How does colleague Rob Goossens view this? “Yes, of course it’s been a bit since De Lama’s that one likes it and the other doesn’t like what he says, but the comments were pretty strong. Including someone who said that it is the biggest jellyfish on Dutch television.”
Rather than Jeroen
Rob thinks that Tijl has many haters, but in the meantime also quite a lot of fans. “It is you love it or you hate it. I find it very funny, also that interaction with Leonie ter Braak, that every time there is something that he goes back to. I have to laugh about it.”
Rob himself is more allergic to that other former Lama. “I like this more, that hypothermic, that cynical, than that shitty fun of Jeroen van Koningsbrugge.”
Criticism
Media journalist Jef Willemsen is also critical:
