Tiina Kaukanen Linna’s party costume

Costume designer Tiina Kaukanen’s outfit has been described in many different words. It does not fully meet the dress code.

After a long hiatus, the castle’s party saw a splendor of color, when bright and beautiful jewel tones were chosen for many guests. However, one of the most interesting costumes of the evening was seen by a film dresser and costume designer Tiina Kaukanen above.

Kaukanen was dressed in a crocheted, sparsely knitted outfit with plenty of different colors. The suit was made and designed by this year’s young designer of the year award Juha Vehmaanperä.

The fashion expert of Linna julpa broadcast Sami Sykkö commented on the outfit with a laugh.

– Let’s say this way, at least the most memorable, Sykkö said with amusement.

We asked a style consultant about the housing choice From Leena Sarvi.

– I looked to see what would come next. Awesome show, startling and exciting.

Sarvi does not comment on whether Kaukanen’s suit violated etiquette or whether the outfit was a stylish choice. However, the outfit reminded me of a different kind of textile, namely a snooze blanket. However, Sarvi does not feel it is appropriate to comment further on the choice of outfit.

– The guests have put their best foot forward. If the wearer of the suit thinks that the choice of outfit is stylish, then it is, Sarvi sums up.

The dress code for receptions at castle parties is a party dress, i.e. a long evening dress. In that sense, Kaukanen’s suit does not meet the requirements of etiquette.
