Tielts hospital is internationally recognized as a regional trauma center

They receive the recognition from a German organization that has screened the hospital. Among other things, it was examined which equipment, knowledge and experience is available to deal with victims with serious injuries. Last year, 80 seriously injured trauma patients were brought to the emergency department of Sint-Andries Hospital.
