Tielt in the dark for a while due to problem with public lighting

The problem started sometime in the early evening. The public lighting was not on in many places, and that had nothing to do with the energy savings.

The issues were resolved around 8:30 PM.

“Dangerous situation”

The city announced on Facebook that Fluvius is aware of the problem. “The technical service is doing everything possible to solve the problem as soon as possible,” it sounds.

It was also pitch dark in the boroughs, residents say. That created a lot of dangerous situations.

In other municipalities and cities it is dark more often, but that is in turn due to the energy measures.
