On April 17, Ed Sheeran will give a concert in Berlin’s Admiralspalast. Unfortunately, as has been the norm for years, tickets are offered on reseller platforms right after – sometimes even before – the start of advance sales: many of them are fake, some are at least overpriced. That’s why Sheeran and his team explicitly ask that tickets for his concerts be bought without exception via www.edsheeran.com or the ticketing companies listed there.
Strict attitude and precautions against cyber crime
The organizer and Ed Sheeran therefore announce: The shows of this tour will be carried out with a specially developed mobile digital ticketing technology. It includes safeguards to ensure real fans buy real tickets, preventing unofficial secondary ticketing sites and unofficial ticket sellers from reselling tickets at inflated prices and ripping off fans.
The organizers also point out that Viagogo is not an official ticket seller for this tour. As with recent Ed Sheeran tours, promoters will monitor sales transactions in conjunction with the National Trading Standards Cyber Crime team to identify purchases that violate the Ed Sheeran ticket sales terms and conditions . All ticket purchases made in violation of these terms are subject to cancellation.
Tickets are exchangeable via “Fan to Fan” option
Ticket holders who cannot go to the concerts have the opportunity to sell their tickets to other fans at the point of original purchase via the official fan-to-fan resale platform at the original price plus pre-sale fee.
