The exclusive pre-sale for next year’s Rammstein stadium concerts started at ten o’clock this Thursday (September 8th). And already there is massive trouble on Twitter and other social media.
The focus of the criticism is the ticket service provider Eventim. Dozens of users complain about the lack of information. It is, they complain, so far completely unclear how the different zones in the stadiums are divided. Initially, early fans should be able to “book” to know exactly what seats they will eventually get for their money.
The price range offered for the tickets currently ranges from EUR 96.80 to EUR 149.60. Flowery special categories such as the “fire zone” are not explained further on the website.
In the meantime, Eventim has made improvements. However, the first few hours of the pre-sale with all sorts of bugs were enough to generate angry excitement. “It pisses me off, I’ve been trying to get tickets for half an hour,” Motzki said on Twitter.
Eventim has so far left unanswered inquiries from various German media on this subject. Those familiar with the matter know that the specially secured strip directly on the edge of the stage is hidden under the “fire zone”. From here, the pyro-heavy show by Lindemann, Flake and Co can be followed particularly well. A die-hard fan area that is “the hot shit” in the truest sense of the word.
The central point of criticism is ultimately directed at the “usability” of the ticket website and the lack of detailed information. To put it simply: You click through and then get stuck somewhere. Or one is forced to buy a pig in a poke.
Other Rammstein fans suggest returning “wrongly bought tickets” if they were purchased in the immediate initial phase of “pre-sales”.
Statements like “Hey, let’s just number tickets in Rammstein advance sales in categories 1-12. Without saying which is where in the stadium!”, also speak the language of a large fan base, which is pretty quick on the battlement. A little more coolness and relaxo might be appropriate.
