Thursday trading in Europe: STOXX 50 falls back at midday

On Thursday, the STOXX 50 was down 0.61 percent at 3,893.91 points at 12:09 p.m. via STOXX. At the start of Thursday trading there were losses of 0.124 percent to 3,912.83 points on the price board, after 3,917.68 points the previous day.

The daily low of the STOXX 50 was 3,870.68 points, while the daily high was 3,912.83 points.

Since the beginning of the week, the STOXX 50 has recorded a loss of 1.32 percent. Just a month ago, on September 19, 2023, the STOXX 50 recorded a level of 3,978.84 points. Just three months ago, on July 19, 2023, the STOXX 50 reached a level of 3,948.62 points. A year ago, on October 19, 2022, the STOXX 50 was at 3,416.34 points.

The index has already increased by 5.65 percent since the beginning of 2023. The STOXX 50 reached its high this year at 4,089.95 points. However, 3,658.90 points is the low for the year.

In the STOXX 50, however, Roche (-3.91 percent to 239.70 CHF), Nestlé (-2.09 percent to 100.12 CHF), BP (-1.90 percent to 5.47 GBP), GSK are under pressure (-1.71 percent to 14.70 GBP) and Enel (-1.19 percent to 5.69 EUR).
