Thuringia Ladies Tour – Manly completes hat trick for Australia, Stage 3 – MDR – Regional

Alexandra Manly from Australia won the third stage of the 34th Tour of Thuringia on Thursday (May 26). The tour leader, who already won on the first day in Hofextending their lead in the overall standings.

After 129.2 kilometers starting and finishing in Dörtendorf, Marta Lach from Poland took second place ahead of Femke Gerritse from the Netherlands. Fourth place went to Ricarda Bauernfeind from Eichstadt. “Unfortunately, I fell on the third lap, but that happens sometimes. It wasn’t that bad. Otherwise, the track suits me and I’m happy that I was able to finish the race in fourth place,” said Bauernfeind after the race.

The race over 132.5 kilometers around Schleiz is scheduled for Friday. The finale of the six-day tour over almost 700 kilometers is on Sunday in Altenburg.
