Thunderstorm: hardly any precipitation, but beautiful images

Thunderstorms had been forecast in the early evening, and it was indeed becoming unstable by this time. But apart from the French border, there has been hardly any precipitation in West Flanders. Jaelle Verhulst did share a beautiful photo of the lightning over Harelbeke.

There is also a chance of thunderstorms tonight, but weatherman Geert Naessens cannot predict exactly whether and when that will turn out. In any case, there is again a high chance of heavy showers with thunderstorms. They are gradually entering a cooler period.
