No Consultation Committee without confusing measures and this time it is the mouth mask rules that raise eyebrows. For example, you can rub against each other in a cafe without a mouth mask, but a mouth mask is mandatory in the cinema. The new rules will come into effect from Saturday 19 February, so we asked virologist Steven Van Gucht for clarification. Although it is not easy for the virologist this time either: “There are only two simple solutions: either no one wears a mouth mask, or everyone wears it everywhere”.
