A three-year-old boy locked himself, his sister and the dog in the car in Waalre on Monday. He locked the car from the inside but couldn’t open it. Mother still had the key in the ignition and could therefore not get into the car from the outside. That reports a youth agent from Valkenswaard on Instagram.
The car’s engine was still running at that time: “luckily the air conditioning was on”, the agent writes on Instagram.
His sister is six months old and the little boy himself was busy playing games. The officers were therefore not explained to him how he could open the door or window again.
Bear for the fright
The children waited quietly until they were freed. In the end, the officers called in the ANWB, they eventually freed the three from the car.
The children received a bear from the officers and took a picture with them. Because the officers indicated: we have never had such a report.
