VfB striker Serhou Guirassy is back in team training after his injury. As the Stuttgart team announced on Wednesday, the 27-year-old has completed partial training.
The Guinean had on October 21st scored the opening goal in the 3-0 win against Union Berlin, but had to be substituted after half an hour. Since Guirassy has been missing, coach Sebastian Hoeneß’s team has played their following league games without him Hoffenheim (2:3) and Heidenheim (0:2) lost.
Guirassy with 14 goals in eight Bundesliga games
Guirassy is VfB’s top player this season. In eight Bundesliga games so far, the striker has scored 14 goals and assisted one goal – a record. He is also involved in over half of all VfB goals (27) in this Bundesliga season. However, it is not yet clear whether Guirassy will be able to play again on Sunday against Borussia Dortmund (3:30 p.m./SWR1 Stadium).
