This is reported by the local authorities and the Minister of Tourism, Chester Cooper. The fatalities are two men and a woman. All from America. Cooper also reports that the fourth victim, also a woman, is currently in hospital. Her condition is unknown.
It is currently unclear what caused the tourists to die. But according to the minister, “there is probably no crime.”
A Sandals spokeswoman reports The Mirror that staff have been warned of a medical emergency and that the families of the victims are being supported. Health Ministry officials have traveled to the island to assist the police with the investigation.
