The police arrested three young women from Tilburg this week on suspicion of involvement in an explosion at a beauty salon on Herestraat in Groningen. No one was injured, but people had to leave their homes as a precaution.
The explosion took place on September 12 at half past eleven in the evening at a beauty salon in the city center. Images of the explosion show a large fireball.
On October 31, an 18-year-old woman from Tilburg was arrested. A day later, two more women aged 18 and 19 from the same place were detained. They are on full restrictions, which means they are only allowed to have contact with their lawyer.

Tilburger also suspected
A 17-year-old boy from Tilburg is also suspected of involvement in the explosion. He was arrested on October 22 for an explosion on September 16 in the Langestraat in Winschoten. He’s still stuck.
From July onwards, violent incidents such as explosions will take place in Winschoten, Oude Pekela and Groningen. The police state that one of the scenarios is that the incidents are part of ‘one or more mutual conflicts in the criminal circuit’.
