Three passengers jump from car on E40 in Erembodegem during police pursuit: perpetrators may be hiding in the garden | Aalst

It was around 5:15 p.m. that the Aalst police sent a BIN (neighborhood information network) message in the region around Erembodegem. On the Christusweg, after an accident, three people jumped out of a car on the E40 after fleeing from the police on the highway. It is currently unclear why they fled. What is certain is that the chase started in Brussels and stopped a few dozen kilometers later near Aalst. The car the suspects were driving sustained significant damage.

The perpetrators may be hiding in the garden of a home or in the surrounding area. A police helicopter is currently on site to track them down, but it is not clear whether anyone has been found yet.
