Three more years! Lampaert extends contract with Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl until the end of 2025
The 31-year-old has had a memorable cycling year, with most remembering the unfortunate crash at his beloved Paris-Roubaix, which likely cost him a podium finish. Equally emotional was the opening stage of the Tour de France, where Yves battled his way to victory in the individual time trial in Copenhagen, taking the famous and coveted yellow jersey.
His career has earned him 15 individual victories to date. “I am very happy to stay with the team for another three years. I see the team as my family and I am always very proud when we are successful, so let’s see if we can add more in the coming years. I want to thank Patrick (Lefevere) for the trust and I hope to be able to repay that trust.”
So happy to stay with my family, thank you for the confidence @qst_alphavinyl https://t.co/ditIPNjGgz
