Three men convicted of planning attack on Macron | Abroad

The trio was found guilty of conspiracy to commit a terrorist act by a court in Paris. They are members of a far-right group called ‘the Barjols’ and in 2018 discussed a plan to stab Macron with a knife at a World War I commemoration.

A fourth person was found guilty of illegal possession of firearms. Nine other defendants from the same group were acquitted.
